Scott has deep empathy for students who struggle with academic motivation, social belonging, and the pressures of achievement culture:
“I skipped a year-and-a-half of primary school and quickly found myself ostracized from my peers. I also found school to be monotonous drudgery: it felt static, irrelevant, boring. Only in middle school did I find my footing socially– I had been lonely for 5 years, so I was instantly and irrevocably loyal to my friends (whom I still love today). In school, I went through the motions and felt uninspired all the way until my undergrad years. And I recall that the college admissions process my senior year of high school was the most challenging time for my mental health of my entire adolescence. The pressure was absolutely insane!! I’m oldest of four kids, and we did a lot of things wrong.
Today I’m dedicated to guiding the misfit, the student-athlete, the thespian / musician, the demotivated, the lonely, the aspiring go-getter… I care about all of my students and their families deeply and give them 100% of myself. This is my ministry and mission in the world: to live enthusiastically, to inspire curiosity and personal growth in those around me. It feels amazing to be part of someone else’s success, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to do so.”

Scott is the creative director of ScottDoty TV, www.thescottdoty.com, and ConquerCoach, a virtual SAT/ACT prep experience.
He is also Co-Founder of The League of Exceptional Tutors, a national mastermind dedicated to up-leveling and social engagement for elite academic coaches… and he is Principal at 25 Chariots, a small venture studio that invests time, talent, and treasure into start-ups in various industries (the studio operates on the principles of Matthew 25 and the movie “Chariots of Fire”– a shout-out to his late father).
Scott is the author of two test prep books and co-author (with his father) of Financial Principles for Life: A Christian Father’s Legacy to His Children in 9 Innings.
Scott only works with 20 private students per year ($600+/hr or $25K per year). He is typically booked in advance– reach out to inquire about wait times.
